Yes it is true! Doing professional Psychic Readings and Mental demonstrations draw in wealthy clientele. For this reason, many classy hotels will offer free lodging to these entertainers, so that the upscale clients can book rooms, eat dinners, and the event usually draws a little attention. Once regular clients are established, book in regular sessions at these hotels during intervals of say 3 to 6 months. Your agent/assistant can book readings every half an hour or so, for a Saturday or Sunday. You can mail or phone your regular clients in advance of your appearance. Maybe offer a free Horoscope report for people that book ahead.

I have seen Nicholas George work at several ritzy, exclusive hotels in Toronto, and in country clubs and resorts, and these people have money to blow on attention. Every time I have tagged along with Nick, I have always been stuffed fat like a pig at these gala dinners. The performers are usually always invited to participate in the food or other entertainment - for FREE!

Remember that a small simple ‘Psychic Effect’ - CAN BLOW PEOPLE AWAY!!! - including potential clients and Booking Agents. A free, small, 30 second, psychic effect - can get you a HUGE, Mega paying Magic show from a client - even through there is no correlation between the effect and your act! It just shows off your performance skills. If your potential client is Female, do detailed Palm Reading. You will win her heart! I have done this many many many MANY times!

While performing private Psychic Readings in a corner table in a restaurant or cocktail lounge, you can gain points with the management and may even be able to get a paying gig as a floor show. Once you are well liked and well established, there is no reason why you cant get paid on both ends.

If you do good in your performance, ‘chain hotels’ like Holiday Inn or Best Western have virtually 100's of other hotels you can work in. There will be no problem getting a recommendation from one chain, to work in others in the chain.

You could also create a rotating schedule after the clubs or hotels get to know you. Set up engagements to appear every week (usually during 'ladies night', 'match making night', or 'singles night' every 3 months in 12 popular clubs. These nights will usually be in your down time (Wednesdays or Thursdays), thus keeping your ‘prime-time’ weekends of the big stuff.

I know of one magician that does only a computer 'Love' Horoscopes and offers a free 'computer match making services' on his laptop computer. The club owner pays him $250 for the magic show, $150 per night for the match making services, and he makes and additional $300 - $500 per night selling $10 Horoscopes and 'Love Scopes'. He hands out business card and always sets up a couple of $50 private readings at his home or office. He is doing exactly what he would be doing anyway on those off nights, but now, while having tons of fun, he pockets an additional $450 - $650 per night - ALL CASH!!! He is kept busy daytime, nighttime, and weekends, all in his priority sequence.

Tea Rooms are usually store front locations that advertise numerous psychics that will appear during given times throughout the month. THESE ARE NOT JUST DUMPY ROOMS, BUT ARE ELITE, FINELY DECORATED PLACES THAT CATER TO THE WEALTHY!

They are just a 'Psychic Entertainers' meeting place. A Psychic will normally do a split with the store owner on any readings they do, anywhere from 25%-40% goes to the Tea Room owner. This is OK, since the Psychic will be given a steady flow of clients (pre-booked in advance) during his down time, that, once they are read, can be added to the Psychics mailing list. There is also no costs to the Psychic and all the tea and pastries are complimentary, supplied by the owner.

You will know ahead of time exactly how many clients have been booked by the Tea Room scheduler for you. In most case, these readings will be paid for in advance, and you take your cash after your sessions, the moment you leave. You can schedule your appearance according to the demand of your services. You can work many Tea Rooms is you wish, as the Tea Room owner is usually at the mercy of the Psychics available.

You can search out these Tea Rooms in the classy, exclusive neighborhoods. Beverly Hills, Los Angeles alone has over 75 Tea Rooms catering to the Movie Stars and Big Name Musicians.

Tea Rooms are called Tea Rooms because usually a client pays a small fee, say $40, for tea and pastries. The 15 minuets reading is then FREE! This prevents the need to buy entertainments licenses that may be required in some cites.

YOU CAN MAKE $150,000.00 PER YEAR, PART TIME, WORKING ONLY TEA ROOMS!!! This alone is a far cry from doing Birthday Parties if this is your thing. Don’t put it off as the Gypsy scam thing.
